REQUIREMENT FOR HAAD LICENSURE
Nurses Licensure Requirements
Nurses applying for licensure must fulfill the following requirements:
Large collection of question banks
A/c Class room with LED projector
A/c Class room with LED projector
- Must be graduates from National and/ or International recognized Nursing college/University.
- Qualifications acquired through honorary nature, correspondence or distance learning are not counted towards the PQR requirements.
- Required Bachelor degree must be a minimum of three (3) years full time course duration. 13.1.5
- Applicants must hold a valid License/ Registration to practice in their home country and/or country of last employment (Where applicable).
- Assistant Nurses and Assistant Midwives cannot work independently and shall work under a registered nurse or midwife.
- All Nurses must hold a minimum of current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or others according to scope of practice.
- Academic transcript must be submitted for credentialing purpose in which determination of disciplines shall be applied.

Credentialling by HAAD/DOH and Approval by HAAD authorities as per HAAD Professional Qualification Requirements.

DOH/HAAD Exam is a Computer Based Exam in MCQ format with No Negative marks. For Registered Nurse-150 Questions in 3hrs, for Assistant/Practical nurse-100 questions in 2 ½ hrs.
It covers Nursing Fundamentals, Maternity Nursing, Med-Surg Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing Research and Nursing Management and Leadership.
Only 3 attempts per year allowed for DOH/HAAD EXAM
A HAAD license is valid for 5 years from the date of passing the HAAD exam.
